“Eric Boeding and Kenny Anderson did a great job. The people answering the phone cheerfully directed me to the right person each time I called. Greg took his time and explained how the process would work. Eric Boeding and Kenny Anderson are great. Their installation exceeded my expectations. Eric and Kenny left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Several discussions in several hardware stores with many craftsmen/ craftswomen led me to make a call for an estimate. The sales person, Greg, convinced us we had the right company. Eric and Kenny confirmed our choice when they completed the installation.”

“Working with Peak Structural was a pleasant experience and the crew knew their jobs well and had a good time working. Harrison was very nice and explained the whole process pretty good. The crew was the best our foreman was Evan and his crew was Anthony and Brandon Dodd. They were polite, courteous and respectful. The guys did a pretty good job of cleaning up considering how it looked before they cleaned up. The thoroughness of how things are explained on the site and videos made me decide immediately who to use.”

“Very professional and thorough, but not everyone in the office who can handle CC payments should go to lunch at the same time. Joe Lally did an excellent job educating us on the benefits of your company, and on the structural condition of our home. Evan, Anthony and Brandon D. were excellent, knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. Evan could not have missed a single point. I’ve been in customer service and recognize a talented person. He knew all the questions we might not think to ask, and answered them for us. He respected our questions and answered them without making us feel stupid. Anthony and Brandon obviously work well with each other and Evan. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. The guys did great. Some dust is still settling. They cannot be responsible for the dirt/dust generated in the crawl space, and we cannot afford having the crawl space lined!”

Repairing and Leveling a Concrete Porch in Pueblo, CO

Carmen owns a nice, stucco home in Pueblo, CO. Throughout the years, she has seen her front porch sink several inches, causing large gaps between her porch and home and cracks in her concrete. To keep this sinking concrete from diminishing the equity on her home, she called an expert at Peak Structural to come solve her problem. When the expert arrived, he performed a complete, comprehensive assessment of the home. He determined that the soil under her concrete was washing out, creating a large void under the slab. The weight of the concrete caused it to keep sinking over time. To permanently solver her sinking concrete, the expert recommended she lift her concrete with our lightweight, waterproof PolyLevel foam solution. PolyLevel will never wash out, so her solution should be permanent. To top it off, PolyLevel comes with a 5-year warranty, so Carmen felt very comfortable fixing her sinking concrete with Peak Structural. She got her concrete lifted using the PolyLevel system and was very happy with the results.

Leaking Basement Waterproofed in Pueblo, CO

Many new construction homes come equipped with a few waterproofing items. Usually some kind of membraned adhered to the exterior of the foundation wall, and a perimeter footing drainage system on the bottom of the basement foundtaion wall. And some builders, may even install a sump pump inside the basement. And that’s just what Mike T. in Puebolo, CO experienced with his brand new home. However, iif a sump pump was installed, how was water still entering his basement?

A solitary sump pump is theoretically supposed to depressurize the soil beneath the basement and act like a magnet to underground water. But on average, a sump in the ground will really only affect about a 15 ft. radius around it. Which means any water on the other side of the basement, could potentially find an easier way in. Not to mention, many home builders will often take the cheap way out and install an unimpressive

Well, Peak Structural specializes in this exact kind of problem. Homes experiencing substantial water around the home need a little more robust system than just a sump pump. Design Specialist Eric Shippert saw this right off the bat with a sump that was filled with water. He then designed a full perimeter WaterGuard system to collect water entering the floor joint and send it to the pump. WaterGuard is an interior piping system that sits above the footing to catch water attempting to enter the basement from any direction.

And of course, a new TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed. The TripleSafe comes with 3 cast iron pumps, that can dishcharge about 10,000 gallons of water/hour when all three are working.

Mike’s basement is now covered on all sides. And he can rest easily knowing The WaterGuard & TripleSafe will protect his basement from future flooding for a very long time.

Window Well Replacement in Pueblo, CO

When Irma walked into her basement one rainy morning, she discovered water leaking in through the window. Because the basement had been recently finished, she needed immediate help to get the water to stop and never come back. That’s when she called Peak Structural for a free estimate.

System Design Specialist Ross Schaulis came out to the home and found that the water was able to find its way into the basement through an old window well. Irma was very pleased to find that simply replacing the window well would solve her water woes, and not something more intrusive.

Installation foreman Cody Solberg installed the corrugated steel window well in half a day, which Irma was even more thrilled about. He showed her the sealing around the edges of the window well, which will block any water below grade from entering her basement. She can now rest easy knowing her newly finished basement is safe from future water thanks to Peak Structural.

Peak Structural strongly believes in the power of community, and what can happen when a group of people comes together for one cause. Recently, the company partnered with Dream Centers, ACE Scholarship, Springs Rescue Mission, and Citizen Soldier Connection to increase awareness for these organizations. Through this partnership Peak Structural is bringing together not only a company, but a community. Customers are given the option to choose one of these nonprofits and a portion of the revenue generated from that customer’s project would be given to that non-profit.

When we asked Paul Sutton, the owner, what inspired him to take this initiative he said, “Non-profits work every day to make our community stronger by uplifting those in need. Whether that be our single mothers, students, homeless, military folks, or just someone in need, these organizations capture the essence of community and most importantly, reflect what our community represents: compassion & will power. Compassion to see the pains and needs of other as our own, and will power to make a difference. The decision is our own; what difference will we make? This idea is our, Peak Structural’s, way of bringing the community together to make a difference.” Alongside this donation program, Peak Structural employees have volunteered their time to clean up trails and parks as part of this new initiative. Last month, a group partook in the America the Beautiful Park Clean-up sponsored by UpaDowna.

Hideout Place in Pueblo

We moved into this bank owned repo 12/30/10. After moving in, a neighbor informed us that there had been water drainage problems in the past. Yesterday, our neighbor’s sprinkler system blewout, and we now have water seeping in along the seam where the floor meets the wall. Previous owner had installed a sump pump, but I don’t think it is in the right location. It runs about every hour. There is a high water table.

*Please contact me by phone or email. Do not stop by without an appointment* I am seeking a quote for the purchase and installation of a crawl space “radon base and blanket system” My crawl space is approximately 3.5 high, 20′ wide x 30′ long with a forced air heat/A.C. unit on a slab and a sump pump. If PVC pipe and fan units work for these (crawl space) applications, is there a fan that is solar-powered?

Turnberry Crescent in Pueblo

My wife and I lease-optioned a townhouse in a four-unit building built on a concrete pier and support beam foundation/structure. We terminated our offer to purchase the unit when (among other things) our building inspector reported that the steel support posts between the concrete piers and the wooden support beam in the crawlspace were actually “temporary” posts, and were installed upside-down. Over the past 9 months of our occupancy of the unit, we have noted some settling issues (garage and driveway slab movement/heaving/cracking, creaking of the floor and wall in one interior part of the unit, etc.). We would like a free inspection and estimate to determine what work might be done to correct any existing foundation problems, with a view to purchasing the unit if these and a few other problems can be corrected. Please contact us to discuss this and schedule a free inspection/estimate, as mentioned above.

Paseo Del Tesoro in Pueblo

It is about a 1600 sq ft. 2 bedroom 2 bath. The crawl space runs the entire length of the house. It is a tall crawl space and has cement walls and a dirt floor. It is constantly damp down there and now we have a little standing water on the north side of the crawl space. We would like to solve this problem once and for all.
